~Teacher – 2nd Grade

Good Shepherd Catholic School is seeking an educational and spiritual leader who encourages excellence in all students through best practices, and innovative and traditional education programs infused with Catholic social teaching.

Candidate can effectively implement the principles of child development and preschool educational methods.  As a representative of the school, the parish, and the Diocese of Dallas, the candidate collaborates and cooperates with other members of the staff in promoting and enhancing the religious character of the educational experiences provided for students.

Must be Catholic and have a strong faith and willingness to share that faith with students by supporting and upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
Meets professional teacher education requirements
Relevant teaching experience, preferably in preschool
Competent in usage of technology
