The SmartLab is a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) learning environment where students explore interests in robotics, circuitry, graphic design, engineering, video production, etc. SmartLabs are project-based, student-centered learning communities. For this reason, teaching professionals in a SmartLab are called “Facilitators” reflecting their primary role in facilitating learning.
