  • Saint Paul Catholic Classical School seeks a School Nurse for grades PK3-8th Grades to join our school family for the 2022-2023 school year. Saint Paul Catholic Classical School is a Catholic, classical liberal arts school serving students in grades PK3-8th grade.     We are seeking a candidate for a Part-Time Nurse for PK3-8th grades that possesses a love for working with children while sharing the Catholic faith while attending to them. The school nurse will also have an appreciation for a liberal arts education while also possessing a love for lifelong learning.  The applicant must have excellent communication skills, the ability to conduct regular hearing and vision screenings, and maintain the school health records database.Qualifications:
  • minimum Bachelor’s degree in a subject area related to the position for which you apply;
  • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program
  • a valid, current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas from the Board of Nurse Examiners
  • a love of children, passion for the subject matter, and desire to continue one’s own learning;
  • committed to embracing and fulfilling the school’s mission and vision
  • CPR certified
  • Knowledge of health appraisal to identify student health defects
  • Independent assessment and clinical judgment skills
  • Ability to deal with multi-disciplinary issues
  • Exposure to bacteria and communicable diseases
