John Paul II High School (JPII), an increasingly multicultural, next-generation Catholic college preparatory high school, is serving families in the greater Collin County area. Does your background include some of these personal and educational achievements?

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an administrative assistant is preferred.
  • Being a member of the Catholic faith is preferred.

What other special knowledge and skills might you bring to our students and community?

  • Experience with Google and Microsoft applications.
  • Able to handle a fast paced, high volume workload.
  • Strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and clerical skills.
  • Good judgment in handling confidential information.

We will look to you to:

  • Maintain the President’s calendar.
  • Records minutes at Cabinet, Faculty and Board meetings; distributes approved minutes appropriately.
  • Creates and maintains the yearly school calendar.
  • Assists Principal with Staff Development; TCCED Reports; Catholic Schools Office Reports; Faculty Meeting Agendas and Powerpoints.
  • Keeps an updated Telephone Extension List, Emergency Phone Tree List and Faculty Address List.
  • Creates and Maintains Board of Director/Trustee Contact Lists.
  • Creates a summer vacation schedule for approval by the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Processes and maintains budget books for President’s Office purchase orders.
  • Monitors school stationery supply and orders when necessary.
  • Monitors certificate paper for Spring programs and orders when necessary.
  • PTSO and CWA Liaison: attend board meetings, advise on school-related questions and issues, coordinate facility usage and business office transactions, provide regular updates to the President.
  • Responsible for graduation items: notification/invitations to special guests/speakers; programs; VIP parking passes.
  • Processes Board of Director/Trustee agendas/packets for all board meetings; creates yearly meeting schedule for approval.
  • Creates yearly schedules of the Faculty/Staff, Cabinet and Board meetings for approval by the President.

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the policies of the Diocese of Dallas and John Paul II High School.
