We are excited to announce an opening for the position of PK 4 teacher at our wonderful Catholic Elementary School. Start Date: August 1^st, 2023

Responsibilities:

Create a positive and engaging learning environment for Pre-K students.

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans based on the curriculum guidelines.

Provide instruction in various subjects, including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.

Foster the spiritual and moral development of students through faith-based activities and teachings.

Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom community that values diversity and promotes mutual respect.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support the overall development of students.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student performance and address any concerns.

Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with educational best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or Bachelor’s degree and completion of a teacher prep program.

Valid teaching certification/license preferred but not required.

Experience working with elementary school students, preferably in a Catholic or faith-based environment.

Strong knowledge of child development and instructional strategies appropriate for first-grade students.

Familiarity with the Catholic faith and a commitment to integrating faith into the curriculum.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Dedication to ongoing professional growth and learning.
